Once the whole family is in the car, there are no transfers to manage and no risk of anyone getting separated. And if a little one starts crying, there are no fellow passengers to worry about, which for parents is a bigger relief than it sounds.

When booking on behalf of an older relative, set the pickup pin precisely and use the driver message to flag that an elderly passenger is riding. If they will need help getting out of the car, mentioning that in advance also goes a long way toward a smooth trip.

For families raising young children, the taxi is the tool you are glad to have "just in case". When a child spikes a fever, a taxi is usually the most realistic way to reach the pediatrician.
